About Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu

Boudhanath is one of the largest stupas in the world and the centre of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. Its great white dome is topped by a golden tower painted with the all-seeing eyes of the Buddha, and strings of prayer flags stretch from its peak. Pilgrims walk clockwise around it, spinning prayer wheels and murmuring mantras. It is part of the Kathmandu Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Puzzle tip: the painted eyes and the golden tower are easy to find; the prayer flags and sky come next.
