About Golden Temple Roof, Tibet

Tibetan monasteries and temples are crowned with gilded roofs, victory banners and golden figures of deer on either side of a Dharma wheel, recalling the Buddha's first sermon in a deer park. The most sacred temple in Tibet, the Jokhang in Lhasa, was founded in the 7th century, and pilgrims walk around it day and night, many prostrating themselves along the way.

Puzzle tip: the golden roof is the highlight; the tree and the sky come next.
