About Amphitheatre of El Jem, Tunisia

The amphitheatre of El Jem was built by the Romans around 238 AD and could hold 35,000 spectators, making it one of the largest in the Roman world. It was built of stone blocks without foundations, on flat ground, and is still remarkably complete. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been used as a setting for many films.

Puzzle tip: the rows of stone arches repeat, so work level by level; the sky comes last.
