About Bergen and Its Harbour from Mount Fløyen

Bergen, Norway's second largest city, lies between seven mountains on the west coast and was the country's capital in the thirteenth century. For four hundred years German merchants of the Hanseatic League ran their trade in dried fish from the wharf of Bryggen, whose wooden houses are now a World Heritage Site. Bergen is famous as one of the rainiest cities in Europe, and locals say the umbrella is its symbol. It is also the starting point of the Hurtigruten coastal ships. In this photo the harbour of Vågen cuts into the city, with rooftops, quays and the sea beyond.

Puzzle tip: start with the harbour and the boats, then the rooftops along the water, and finish with the sea and the sky.
