About Boats at Gorée Island, Senegal

Gorée is a small island a short ferry ride from Dakar, with car-free sandy lanes and colourful colonial houses. From the 15th to the 19th century it was a trading post, and its House of Slaves is today a memorial to the Atlantic slave trade. The whole island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a place of remembrance.

Puzzle tip: the boats are the clearest shapes; the water is best sorted by its colour.
