About Colourful Houses beside the Inn, Innsbruck

Innsbruck grew beside the Inn River in a valley between Alpine ranges. The brightly painted houses of Mariahilf stand on the river’s north bank, with the Nordkette mountains behind them. Many buildings in this older part of town date from the fifteenth century, although their façades have changed over time. The river and the row of narrow houses have become one of the city’s most photographed views. Their different colours make the skyline easy to recognise against the grey mountains and blue sky.

Puzzle tip: match the coloured houses one by one, then use the mountain ridge to sort the sky pieces.
