About Emerald Lake and Its Lodge, Yoho

Emerald Lake is the largest lake in Yoho National Park, in British Columbia, just across the Continental Divide from Banff. The name Yoho comes from a Cree expression of awe and wonder. A guide named Tom Wilson came upon the lake in 1882, and its green colour, from rock flour in the water, soon made it famous. A small island holds the wooden buildings of Emerald Lake Lodge, connected to the shore by a bridge. In this photo autumn trees and the lodge sit by the green water below the mountains.

Puzzle tip: start with the island and its buildings, then the mountains, and finish with the green water.
