About Naviglio Grande at Sunset, Milan

Milan was once linked to lakes and rivers by a network of canals, the Navigli, whose locks were improved in Leonardo da Vinci's time. The Naviglio Grande, dug from the 12th century, carried the marble used to build the cathedral. Most of the canals were later covered over, but the Naviglio Grande survives, lined with bars and restaurants that come alive at sunset.

Puzzle tip: the lights and their reflections are easy to match; the buildings on both banks come next.
