About Glacial Lake in the Pirin Mountains

The Pirin Mountains in south-western Bulgaria rise to 2,914 metres at Vihren, the country's second-highest peak, and are dotted with more than a hundred glacial lakes. Pirin National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983, protects their marble and granite ridges, old forests of Bosnian and Macedonian pine and rare alpine flowers. The ski town of Bansko lies at the foot of the range and is the starting point for many hiking trails. In this photo a clear blue lake lies in a valley below rocky peaks and green slopes.

Puzzle tip: start with the blue lake, then fill the grassy slopes and finish with the grey peaks and the sky.
