About Hyangwonjeong Pavilion, Seoul

Hyangwonjeong is a small two-storey pavilion on an island in a lotus pond at the northern end of Gyeongbokgung Palace. It was built in the 1870s for King Gojong, and its name means Pavilion of Far-Reaching Fragrance. A wooden bridge leads to it across the water, and it is especially beautiful in autumn, when the trees around the pond turn red and gold.

Puzzle tip: the pavilion and its reflection make an easy centre; the leafy trees need patience.
