About Langkawi Sky Bridge at Sunset

The Langkawi Sky Bridge is a curved footbridge about 125 metres long, hanging some 660 metres above sea level near the top of Gunung Mat Cincang on the island of Langkawi. It opened in 2005 and is held by a single tall pylon with steel cables, so it seems to float above the rainforest. Visitors reach it by the Langkawi Cable Car, one of the steepest in the world, and on clear days can see as far as the islands of Thailand. The rocks of the mountain are among the oldest in Malaysia, and Langkawi is a UNESCO Global Geopark. In this photo the bridge curves along the ridge under golden evening clouds.

Puzzle tip: the curve of the bridge and its pylon are clear shapes; the misty hills and clouds take patience.
