About Limestone Walls inside the Underground River, Palawan

Inside the mountain, the Underground River flows through a series of huge chambers carved by water over millions of years. Stalactites and curtains of rock hang from the ceiling, and guides point out shapes that look like fruit, animals and figures. Bats and swiftlets nest in the dark, and the cave is home to small creatures adapted to life without light. The tour goes about a kilometre and a half into the cave by boat, in near silence. In this photo the rock walls, streaked with orange and green, are reflected in the still blue water near the entrance.

Puzzle tip: the line between the rock and its reflection is your best guide; the darker shadows come last.
