About Mekong River at Sunset, Chiang Rai

The Mekong is one of the great rivers of Asia, about 4,350 kilometres long. It rises on the Tibetan Plateau and flows through China, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam to the South China Sea. In Chiang Rai province, in the far north of Thailand, it forms the border with Laos, and near the town of Chiang Saen it meets the borders of Myanmar too, at the place known as the Golden Triangle. Tens of millions of people depend on the river for fish, rice fields and transport.

Puzzle tip: the hills and their reflections are easiest to sort by colour; the soft evening sky is the last part.
