About Mount Chephren and Waterfowl Lake in Autumn

In the fall, golden trees stand on the shore of Waterfowl Lake, below Mount Chephren in Banff National Park, in the Canadian Rockies of Alberta, Canada. The lake lies beside the Icefields Parkway, the mountain road between Lake Louise and Jasper, and its turquoise colour comes from fine rock flour carried down by glacier meltwater. Mount Chephren was once called the Black Pyramid and was later named after the pharaoh who built the second pyramid of Giza. In the Rockies, autumn is gold rather than red: aspens and larches turn yellow in September. In this photo yellow trees and a snowy peak rise above the turquoise water.

Puzzle tip: start with the snowy peak, then the yellow trees on the right, and finish with the turquoise water and the dark forest.
