About Northern Lights over Kirkjufell, Iceland

Kirkjufell, the "Church Mountain", rises in a steep, pointed cone beside the small town of Grundarfjörður on Iceland's Snæfellsnes peninsula. With the little Kirkjufellsfoss waterfalls in front, it is one of the most photographed places in Iceland, and on clear winter nights the northern lights often swirl above its summit. Iceland lies just south of the Arctic Circle, under the band where auroras are most common, so from September to April they can be seen almost anywhere away from city lights.

Puzzle tip: the dark cone of the mountain is the key piece; the green aurora and the starry sky are best sorted by shade.
