About Northern Lights over the Lofoten Islands

The Lofoten Islands rise from the Norwegian Sea in a wall of sharp, snowy peaks, far north of the Arctic Circle. Thanks to the warm Gulf Stream, their winters are surprisingly mild for such a northern place, and the long, dark nights from autumn to spring make them a wonderful place to watch the aurora. Lofoten has been famous for centuries for its cod fishery: every winter huge shoals arrive to spawn, and the fish are dried on wooden racks in the cold sea air.

Puzzle tip: the snowy peaks are the clearest shapes; the swirling green sky is best sorted from bright to dark.
