About Park Güell, Barcelona

Park Güell was designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí in the early 1900s, first as a garden estate for wealthy families and later opened as a public park. Its best-known feature is the long, winding bench around the main terrace, covered in broken tiles and pottery in a mosaic technique called trencadís. From the terrace the view reaches across Barcelona to the Mediterranean Sea.

Puzzle tip: every piece of the mosaic bench is different, so start there; the pale terrace floor and the sky come last.
