About Red Rocks on Lake Superior, Thunder Bay

Lake Superior is the largest of the Great Lakes and the largest freshwater lake in the world by area, so big that it has waves and storms like a sea. Thunder Bay, the Ontario city on its north-west shore, grew from fur-trading posts, and its port still ships grain from the prairies east across the lakes. Across the bay lies the Sleeping Giant, a long flat-topped ridge that looks like a giant lying on his back and is linked to an Ojibwe legend about Nanabijou. In this photo red and pink rocks lead into clear blue water under a bright sky with white clouds.

Puzzle tip: start with the red rocks at the front, then the blue water, and finish with the clouds and the sky.
