About Sagrada Família, Barcelona

The Sagrada Família is the great unfinished basilica of Barcelona, begun in 1882 and taken over a year later by Antoni Gaudí, who worked on it for the rest of his life. Its towers, carved façades and tree-like columns turn stone into something that looks almost alive. Building has continued for more than a century, paid for by visitors and donations, and together with other works by Gaudí it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Puzzle tip: the pale towers against the blue sky are the heart of the picture; the leafy branches around the edges need sorting by shade.
