About Surfboard Fence at Hanalei, Kauaʻi

Hanalei is a small town on the north shore of Kauaʻi, beside a wide, half-moon bay framed by green mountains and waterfalls. Surfing is part of everyday life here: the bay has some of the island's best waves in winter, and old boards are often reused around town, as in this fence of weathered surfboards in front of a hedge. Nearby, taro grows in flooded fields, as it has for centuries.

Puzzle tip: each surfboard is a clear shape, so build them one by one; the green hedge behind them comes last.
