About Turquoise Water in an Omani Canyon

Oman has dry mountain valleys known as wadis, carved by water flowing from the Hajar Mountains toward the coast. In some of them, such as Wadi Shab south-east of the capital, clear pools remain between steep limestone walls long after the rain has passed, and visitors walk and swim through the gorges. This photograph looks down into a narrow canyon with bright turquoise water at its bottom. Follow the changing colours of the rock and water as you fit the image together.

Puzzle tip: start where the turquoise water meets the dark rock; use the rock layers for the rest.
