About Valletta Skyline at Sunset

Valletta was founded in 1566, right after the Great Siege, by Grand Master Jean de Valette, and it was built on a strict grid of streets across a narrow peninsula. Seen from across Marsamxett Harbour, its skyline is crowned by two landmarks: the large dome of the Carmelite Church and the slender spire of St Paul's Pro-Cathedral, built for the Anglican community in the 1840s. The whole city has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1980. In this photo the honey-coloured walls glow in the evening sun above the water.

Puzzle tip: start with the dome and the spire, then build the long line of golden walls above the water.
