About Winding Mountain Road, Ha Giang

Ha Giang is the northernmost province of Vietnam, on the border with China, a land of high limestone mountains, deep river valleys and villages of the Hmong, Dao, Tay and other peoples. Narrow roads twist over the passes in tight bends, and riding them by motorbike has become a popular adventure. The most famous, the Happiness Road, was built by hand in the 1960s by thousands of young volunteers. Further north, the Dong Van Karst Plateau is a UNESCO Global Geopark, and a flag tower at Lung Cu marks the northern tip of the country.

Puzzle tip: start with the pale line of the road and its bends; the green slopes and the hazy peaks take the most patience.
