About Winter Slopes in Courchevel

Courchevel is one of the most famous ski resorts in the world, built from 1946 onwards as one of the first resorts in France planned especially for skiing. It is part of Les Trois Vallées, the Three Valleys, which together with Méribel and Val Thorens form the largest linked ski area in the world, with about six hundred kilometres of runs. Courchevel even has its own small mountain airport, the altiport, with a steep sloping runway. In this photo a wide slope of fresh snow, marked with ski tracks, leads up to a pair of wooden chalets beside a dark fir tree under a blue sky.

Puzzle tip: start with the dark fir tree and the chalets, then the forest on the left, and finish with the white snow and the blue sky.
