Guatemala is the heart of the ancient Maya world, a country of volcanoes, lakes and colourful markets. Our Guatemala puzzles show the pyramids of Tikal, the colonial city of Antigua, Lake Atitlán and the pools of Semuc Champey.

Tikal, deep in the rainforest of the north, was one of the largest Maya cities, and its temple pyramids rise above the treetops. Antigua Guatemala was the capital until earthquakes in 1773 moved the government away; its cobbled streets, ruined churches and yellow Santa Catalina Arch stand beneath the cone of Volcán de Agua.
Nearby, Volcán de Fuego is one of the most active volcanoes in the world, often glowing at night. Lake Atitlán is surrounded by three volcanoes and Maya villages, and at Semuc Champey a river disappears under a natural limestone bridge topped by turquoise pools.
