Rwanda, a small country in the heart of Africa, is known as the land of a thousand hills. Its green slopes are covered with tea plantations, farms and forests. Our Rwanda puzzles show its misty hills, volcanoes, a savanna lake and a mountain gorilla.

Mountain Gorilla, Rwanda
In the north-west, the Virunga volcanoes rise along the borders with Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Their bamboo and rainforest slopes are one of the last homes of the mountain gorilla, which visitors can see in small groups with local guides in Volcanoes National Park.
In the east, Akagera National Park is a very different landscape of lakes, swamps and savanna, where giraffes, zebras and hippos live. The capital, Kigali, is known as one of the cleanest cities in Africa.
