About Pier on Lake Atitlán

Lake Atitlán fills a huge volcanic crater in the highlands of Guatemala, formed by an eruption about 84,000 years ago. Three volcanoes, Atitlán, Tolimán and San Pedro, rise from its southern shore, and Maya villages ring the lake, linked by small boats. The lake is more than 300 metres deep, and its colour changes through the day from deep blue to silver.

Puzzle tip: the wooden pier leads your eye to the volcanoes; sort the water by its shades of blue.
