About Cradle Mountain and Dove Lake, Tasmania

Cradle Mountain, 1,545 metres high, rises above Dove Lake in the wild highlands of Tasmania. On the shore stands an old wooden boatshed, one of the most photographed buildings on the island. The area is part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, and it marks the start of the Overland Track, a walk of about six days through mountains, forests and moorland.

Puzzle tip: the boatshed is the landmark; the jagged peaks and the lake come next.
