About Church of St. Leodegar and Lake Lucerne

The twin spires of the Church of St. Leodegar, known in Lucerne as the Hofkirche, rise above the shore of Lake Lucerne. When most of the old church burned down in 1633, its two Gothic towers survived, and a new Renaissance church was built between them. Lucerne is also famous for the Chapel Bridge, a covered wooden bridge from the 14th century, and for the fleet of old paddle steamers that still sail across the lake to the villages and mountains around it.

Puzzle tip: the two pointed spires are the key pieces; the white boats and the calm water come next.
