About Shopping Street with Signs, Tokyo

A narrow shopping street in Tokyo is lined from top to bottom with signs written in Japanese, which uses three scripts together: kanji characters borrowed from Chinese, and two sets of simpler syllables called hiragana and katakana. Greater Tokyo is the largest city area in the world, home to more than 37 million people. Even so, it is known as a safe and orderly city, where trains run to the minute and shops stay open late into the night.

Puzzle tip: the sky between the buildings is the easiest part; the signs need patience, so sort them by colour.
