About Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin

Christ Church Cathedral is the older of Dublin's two medieval cathedrals. It was founded in the early 11th century, when Viking kings ruled Dublin, and was later rebuilt in stone by the Normans. Much of what we see today comes from a major restoration in the 1870s. Beneath it lies a large medieval crypt, one of the oldest structures in the city.

Puzzle tip: the grey stone walls need patience; start with the tower against the blue sky and the purple flowers.
