About Byblos from Above

Byblos, about 40 kilometres north of Beirut, is one of the oldest cities in the world, inhabited for some seven thousand years. It was a great Phoenician port, which shipped cedar wood from the mountains of Lebanon to Egypt. The Greeks bought papyrus here, and their word for it, byblos, gave us the word "Bible". The town has a small old harbour, a Crusader castle built in the 12th century and the ruins of temples from many ages. It has been a World Heritage Site since 1984.

Puzzle tip: the coastline is a clear line between land and sea; the roofs and streets are easier to sort by colour.
