About Kaunas Castle at Golden Hour

Kaunas Castle stands near the meeting of the Nemunas and Neris rivers in Lithuania’s second-largest city. Its brick walls and towers were built in the medieval period to guard an important river crossing. Surviving sections now form a small landmark beside the old town and surrounding park. The aerial view catches the brick castle in warm light above the surrounding streets. Kaunas was Lithuania's temporary capital between the two world wars.

Puzzle tip: start with the castle walls, then use the street lines to place the town.
