About Limestone Cliffs around Maya Bay

The cliffs around Maya Bay are made of limestone that formed from the shells and coral of an ancient sea, and was later lifted up and carved by rain into steep towers. The bay is part of Hat Noppharat Thara–Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park, which also protects the reefs around the islands. After the bay was closed to boats in 2018, blacktip reef sharks returned to its shallow water in large numbers. In this view the green walls of rock frame a small white beach and water of several shades of blue.

Puzzle tip: build the tall green cliffs first, then use the bands of light and dark blue to place the water.
