About Golden Spires of the Grand Palace, Bangkok

The Grand Palace in Bangkok was begun in 1782, when King Rama I moved the capital to the east bank of the Chao Phraya River. For about 150 years it was the home of the Thai kings, and it is still used for royal ceremonies. Inside its white walls stand throne halls, pavilions and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the most sacred temple in Thailand. Its buildings are covered with gold leaf, coloured glass and glazed tiles. This photo shows tiers of orange and green roofs and golden spires shining in the sun.

Puzzle tip: start with the golden spires against the sky, then sort the orange and green roof tiles by colour.
