About Temple Ruins in Sukhothai Historical Park

Sukhothai was the capital of the first great Thai kingdom, founded in the thirteenth century. Its name means 'dawn of happiness'. King Ramkhamhaeng, who ruled here, is credited with creating the Thai alphabet, and a stone inscription from his reign describes a land with 'fish in the water and rice in the fields'. The old city, with its walls, moats and nearly two hundred ruins, became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991. This photo shows brick and stone temple ruins standing on green lawns under a clear blue sky.

Puzzle tip: start with the ruins in the middle, then fill the lawn below and the plain blue sky last.
