About Dingli Cliffs, Malta

The Dingli Cliffs on the west coast of Malta rise about 250 metres above the sea, near the highest point of the island. From the top a footpath follows the edge past terraced fields, old farmhouses and the small chapel of St Mary Magdalene, built in the seventeenth century. Below the cliffs a narrow strip of fertile land is farmed right down towards the water. The tiny uninhabited island of Filfla can be seen offshore on clear days. In this photo the cliffs drop to the sea beneath an old stone tower and a clear sky.

Puzzle tip: start with the tower and the edge of the cliff, then fill the rocky slope and the sea below.
