About Market Stall in Palermo

Palermo's street markets, such as Ballarò and the Vucciria, have traded for centuries and feel more like North African souks than European shops. Stallholders call out their prices in a loud sing-song chant called the abbanniata. Blood oranges, lemons, pomegranates, fresh fish and spices are piled high, and street-food stalls sell arancine and panelle to eat on the spot.

Puzzle tip: the fruit is full of bright colour, so sort the pieces by colour and shape first.
