About Sandy Beach in Southern Tongatapu

Tongatapu, where most Tongans live, is a flat island of raised coral limestone, tilted so that its southern edge stands higher than the north. Along the south coast, the sea has carved low cliffs, rock terraces and blowholes, such as those at Houma, where spray shoots high into the air at high tide. Between the rocky stretches lie small sandy coves, often reached by wooden steps from the coast road. This photo shows such a cove in the warm evening light, with orange limestone rocks and green bushes above the sand.

Puzzle tip: start with the orange rocks and the green bushes, then fill the smooth sand and the pale sky.
