About Aurora over Hamnøy, Lofoten

Curtains of green aurora hang on both sides of a dark, steep mountain above the fishing village of Hamnøy in the Lofoten Islands, and the village lights shine back from the calm water. Hamnøy is one of the oldest fishing villages in Lofoten, known for its red rorbuer, wooden cabins on stilts where fishermen once stayed during the winter cod season. The village lies close to Reine on the road along the island chain, and the view from its bridge is one of the most photographed in Norway.

Puzzle tip: the dark mountain and its reflection make a clear shape; the green curtains are best sorted from bright to faint.
