About Sunset over the Ennedi Plateau

Evening on the Ennedi Plateau, in the far northeast of Chad, turns the sandstone cliffs and the sand of the Sahara gold and orange. The plateau rises to about 1,450 metres and is so remote that it takes days of driving across the desert from the capital, N'Djamena, to reach it. Among its rock formations is the Aloba Arch, one of the largest natural arches in the world, about 120 metres high. This photo shows the sun setting behind a long line of cliffs, with a lone figure on the sand.

Puzzle tip: start with the bright sun and the glowing sky, then the dark line of cliffs, and the sand in front last.
