About Temple of Demeter, Cyrene

Cyrene, in the green hills of eastern Libya, was founded by Greek settlers from the island of Thera around 631 BC and became one of the great cities of the ancient Greek world, famous for its doctors, philosophers and horses. Its ruins, spread over a terrace above the Mediterranean, are a UNESCO World Heritage site. Demeter was the Greek goddess of farming and harvests, and her sanctuary here dates back to the 3rd century BC. This photo shows the temple's columns reflected in a pool of rainwater.

Puzzle tip: start with the stone columns and their reflections, then the green grass, and the blue sky and the water last.
