About Philae Temple, Aswan

The temples of Philae are dedicated mainly to the goddess Isis and stand on an island in the Nile near Aswan. When the Aswan dams threatened to flood them, they were taken apart in the 1970s, stone by stone, and rebuilt on the nearby island of Agilkia. The graceful open pavilion by the water, known as Trajan's Kiosk, was built in Roman times.

Puzzle tip: the temple and the palm trees are the easiest part; the river and the sky come last.
