About Camel Caravan in the Sahara, Morocco

The dunes of Erg Chebbi, near the village of Merzouga in south-eastern Morocco, rise up to 150 metres high on the edge of the Sahara. Visitors ride camels into the dunes to watch the sunset and spend the night in Berber tents. For centuries, camel caravans crossed the Sahara carrying salt, gold and cloth between North and West Africa.

Puzzle tip: the line of camels is the key detail; the dunes are best sorted by the light and shadow on the sand.
