About A Cable Car below the Mont Blanc Massif

Chamonix lies at the foot of the Mont Blanc massif and hosted the first Winter Olympic Games in 1924. Cable cars and mountain railways climb from the valley into the high mountains, and the most famous of them rises to the Aiguille du Midi at 3,842 metres, opened in 1955 and once the highest cable car in the world. From the top, visitors look straight across glaciers to the summit of Mont Blanc. In this photo a small cable car cabin hangs on its wires in front of a wall of snowy peaks and glaciers, lit by the sun.

Puzzle tip: start with the small cable car, then the snowy peaks and glaciers, and finish with the dark rocks and the pale sky.
