About Blue Icebergs in Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon

Jökulsárlón is a lagoon at the foot of Breiðamerkurjökull, an outlet glacier of Vatnajökull, the largest ice cap in Iceland. It began to form in the 1930s as the glacier melted back, and it has grown quickly since; today it is the deepest lake in the country, more than 250 metres deep in places. Icebergs that break from the glacier float slowly across the lagoon to the sea, and seals often swim among them. This photo shows blue and white icebergs drifting on the water in front of snowy mountains.

Puzzle tip: start with the blue icebergs in the middle, then the dark water in front and the snowy mountains behind.
