About Northern Lights over Snowy Hills near Reykjavík

Green and violet waves of aurora sweep across the sky above snow-covered hills near Reykjavík. Iceland's capital is the northernmost capital of an independent country, and about two thirds of all Icelanders live in and around it. Even here the northern lights are often bright enough to see from parks and the seafront, though the best views come a short drive out of town, away from the street lights. The aurora season runs from September to April, when the nights are dark enough.

Puzzle tip: the white hills at the bottom are the easiest part; the green waves and the violet sky are best sorted by colour.
