About Shinjuku Gyoen from Above, Tokyo

Shinjuku Gyoen was once the garden of a feudal lord's residence, then an imperial garden, and it opened to the public in 1949. Its almost sixty hectares combine a traditional Japanese garden with formal French and landscaped English styles, and with around a thousand cherry trees it is one of Tokyo's favourite places for spring picnics. This aerial view shows the green oval of the park surrounded by the endless buildings of Tokyo, with the towers of Shinjuku and central Tokyo in the distance.

Puzzle tip: start with the green park in the middle, then the tall buildings on the horizon, and fill in the city around them.
