About Bojnice Castle from the Air

Bojnice Castle stands on a mound of travertine, and under its courtyard lies a natural cave with a small lake, reached by a well. The castle has a moat, an inner and an outer courtyard and a crypt with the sarcophagus of Count Pálffy. In the park below grows an ancient linden tree, said to have been planted by King Matthias Corvinus in the 15th century, when he visited the castle. The spa town of Bojnice, with its thermal springs, lies right beside it. In this aerial photo the castle's towers and roofs rise above a ring of dark green trees.

Puzzle tip: the pointed towers give you clear shapes; the dark trees around the castle need more patience.
