About Tent under the Aurora on McHugh Peak, Anchorage

A red tent glows on the snowy west summit of McHugh Peak in Chugach State Park, high above Anchorage, while a green band of aurora crosses the sky. The park covers about 2,000 square kilometres of mountains, glaciers and valleys right on the edge of Alaska's largest city, so wild country begins only minutes from the suburbs. Anchorage lies further south than Fairbanks, under the edge of the auroral oval, and the lights are seen here most often around the equinoxes in spring and autumn.

Puzzle tip: the red tent is the easiest piece; then the snowy slopes, and the dark sky with its green band last.
